Description:  This event is a three-day/2-night mountain bike excursion in the Sierra Nevada’s doing the most challenging Downieville Downhill trails. The Downieville Downhill is an 18-mile, technically advanced, downhill single track trail from the Sierra Buttes west to the town of Downieville (Due to the nature of the trails, this event is for intermediate to advanced mountain bike cyclist...this trail is not for novice riders and can be dangerous).

Participants will leave early Friday, June 12, ascend on Downieville CA to take their first run at the downhill before driving back up the mountain to our lodgings at Shaffer's High Sierra Camp where we'll join other mountain bike enthusiasts for cocktails and a gourmet meal. Saturday morning the group will enjoy a light breakfast and another run at the downhill. Once in Downieville, pizza and beer will be provided down by the river. The group will shuttle back to the camp, enjoy some free time before more cocktails and dinner. Another light breakfast will be served Sunday morning before breaking camp and returning home.
