One week in a Montana Cabin

Located in Coram, Montana this cabin is only five minutes from Glacier National Park and 40 minutes to Whitefish Mountain skiing. This home offers access to some of Montana's most majestic wilderness experiences in a rustic setting. This secluded 480-acre retreat is surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and is prime habitat to a diverse population of northwest wildlife.

The cabin has an open kitchen/living room floor plan, two main-floor bedrooms (king and queen) and a lower dorm-style bedroom that sleeps five. Amenities include vacation office with wireless internet, media room, two full baths, laundry room, outdoor gas barbeque and a large sitting porch with outstanding views of the ranch and the mountains beyond.

Summer recreation includes: exploring Glacier National Park, white water rafting, fly-fishing, mountain biking and horseback riding with local wranglers. South of Coram is Flathead Lake, the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi, offers challenging sailing against a breathtaking backdrop of the Mission Mountains. Golf is also in the area; according to Golf Digest, Ironhorse and Big Mountain are two of the top five golf courses in Montana.

Winter in Glacier Country is equally exciting. The property maintains over 40 kilometers of groomed classic Nordic ski trails. Snowshoeing is also a great way to explore the property. Whitefish Mountain offers rewarding terrain to novice and expert alike. Ski Magazine in its latest annual "Top 50 Resort Guide" ranked Whitefish Mountain as #20 in North America, the highest ranking any Montana ski area has ever received.
