Chernomorets was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He earned a BA in Fine Arts and Drafting. He relocated to the United States and almost immediately was able to find a job as a scenic artist and Art Director. Although the influence of the Masters is evident in his works, Chernomorets' style is uniquely his own.
