The artwork of Henry Miller is both poetic and precarious at the same time. Miller previously worked as a set designer for the motion picture industry. By 1988 he had received notable recognition from the art world and he got together with 3 other artist in their San Antonio, Texas studio and began his full time work as a painter and print maker. In Miller’s more recent works, he has resumed his inquest into color experimentation that began years prior when he was a student. His dramatic use of light and dark commands the viewer’s attention. Today he continues to paint beautiful abstract imagery with brilliant color contrast.
