Julius Lira Salazar was born in Madre de Dios, Peru, in 1973. At the age of 15 he immigrated to the big city, Lima, in search of a future. Initially he assisted an architect with his drawings, starting with sketches and later making the final drawings as well. Ever since, Julius has entirely immersed himself in his art career. He joined the atelier of the renowned Peruvian artist Azarin. Julius also studied Sculpture and Mythology at the well-known School of Arts of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica. He is a renowned contemporary artist that is quickly gaining widespread acclaim amongst art circles around the globe.
