A rare opportunity for ONE or TWO YOUNG HUNTERS  (15 years old or younger) to hunt ducks at the Idaho Hagerman Wildlife Management Area. This wildlife management area is renowned for large populations of ducks and other waterfowl in the fall and winter. An adult mentor, experienced in duck hunting will be provided to accompany the young hunters.  (A parent may accompany the youth.) Hagerman Wildlife Management Area was opened to a very limited opportunity for youth duck hunting in 2007 and has been closed to all waterfowl hunting since the late 1970's so this hunt offers a unique opportunity to hunt ducks where there has been very little hunting pressure.  The hunters will be coached in waterfowl hunting techniques including calling, decoy sets, safe firearm handling, and dog handling.
