THIS TRIP IS FOR THAT SPECIAL WINNING BIDDER IN GOOD PHYSICAL SHAPE*(see below)! YOU will spend ONE DAY on horseback with an Idaho Department of Fish and Game Conservation Officer to a lake in Idaho's Selkirk Mountains near Bonners Ferry to stock fish. Winning bidder will need layered clothing, rain gear and good boots. Winning bidder should be able to horseback and capable of carrying a small bag of fish - up to 8 pounds in a backpack and hiking on uneven terrain. TRIP TAKES PLACE AUGUST or SEPTEMBER 2009. Trip starts early in the morning so winning bidder should plan on booking a motel/hotel reservation in Bonners Ferry. Horse and saddle will be provided. Winning bidder must provide transportation to Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Special Instructions
* PLEASE NOTE: Trip takes place in steep, rocky country and sometimes necessary to dismount and lead horse. Must have hiking boots and be in good physical condition. Could spend from 6-8 hrs. in saddle and walking up to a mile. Winning bidder should not have any serious health problems.
Winning bidders will be contacted by Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation staff.
PLEASE NOTE: An additional charge of 3.45% credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to the winning bid price of each item. A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bid price for all land-based trips, quilt and framed prints. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law. All sales are final.
