In the spring of 2006, a group of high school students from South Florida accompanied five survivors of the Holocaust to Poland and Israel on a trip known as "The March of the Living".  Alongside 8,000 other participants from around the world, these young travelers experienced the remnants of pre-war Poland, the horrors of the concentration camps, the reemergence of Polish Jewry, and the current struggle for peace in Israel. Through this pilgrimage, we see the beginning of lifelong paths of discovery and participatory citizenship.

On this journey, history lessons became life lessons.
