Entitled "Leading the Way," this beautifully constructed wall hanging was created by Seeing Eye Attending Veterinarian Julie Cohen. The 19" by 19" quilt is an original design by Dr. Cohen and depicts a yellow Labrador in harness. The dog is appliqued in flannel onto a white background to create a visual and tactile quilt.

The harness was created with folded fabric, resulting in a 3-dimensional quilt. It even includes the words "The Seeing Eye" exactly like the authentic leather harnesses. Two borders of light and dark green complete the quilt and a set of paw prints (appliqued in black flannel) traverse from the outer border onto the edge of the center white square.
