Karen Ann Young has been drawing since she was 5. Her favorite medium was colored pencils.  Since becoming severely visually impaired, though, she has developed a very special drawing technique, using her remaining vision and her computer to create unique and realistic "drawings" of animals and pets.

"It's an incredible feeling to once again be able to express myself through my artwork and find such pleasure in watching each of my creations come to life," says Young. "I can now draw using a mouse on the screen as well as I used to draw with pencils on canvas and paper."

Karen Ann Young will create an 8.5" x 11" computer drawing of your dog or cat, printed on premium photo paper. The piece will be signed and dated and will arrive with a fact sheet describing her vision loss, her artwork, and her life with her Seeing Eye dog.
