1507-Lunch with Venture Capitalist Vinod Khosla

Item Number: 1507
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
"An entrepreneur is someone who dares to dream the dreams and is foolish enough to try to make those dreams come true." Have lunch with venture capitalist extraordinaire, Vinod Khosla, and discuss the latest ideas in clean tech and what the future of energy holds for us.
Mr. Khosla was a co-founder of Daisy Systems and founding Chief Executive Officer of Sun Microsystems where he pioneered open systems and commercial RISC processors. In 1986, Mr. Khosla joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. In 2004, driven by the need for flexibility and a desire to be more experimental, he formed Khosla Ventures. Khosla Ventures, which funds both traditional venture capital technology investments and clean technology ventures, allows Mr. Khosla the freedom to fund sometimes imprudent "science experiments" and to take on both "for profit" and for "social impact" ventures.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a budding entrepreneur!
