This three bottle Jordan "Winter's Collection" includes their 2006 Alexander Valley Chardonnay, 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon and 1983 Riviere Russe, a late harvest blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

The 2006 Chardonnay is made in the Burgundian style, barrel-fermented in nearly half new oak and aged on the lees. The flavors are of green apples and nectarines, with a mineral tug. This is an elegant, sophisticated Chardonnay.

The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits ample cassis fruit framed by soft tannins that promise immediate drinkability. The use of oak is quite restrained, but just enough to complement this bold wine.

The 1983 Riviere Russe is rich and unctuously textured with notes of persimmon and apricots on the palate balanced by perfect acidity that leaves a long, lasting finish.
