Lisa Lyons started her culinary career in 1993 when she attended the California Culinary Academy. After graduation, having been recognized as an exceptional talent, she continued her professional education as a Sous Chef, working under Roland Passot of La Folie Restaurant in San Francisco. Lisa steadily climbed the ranks from Sous Chef to Executive Sous Chef. La Folie has been one of San Francisco's most highly acclaimed restaurants over the past 20 years.

After La Folie, Lisa led the team at Baker Street Bistro for three year as Executive Chef. After Baker Street Bistro, Lisa returned to work for Roland Passot by taking on the Executive Chef responsibilities at Left Bank Restaurant. Lisa opened the Left Bank on Santana Row in San Jose and has worked at two other restaurants in the small niche chain.
