These are three new novels for middle graders, each signed by the author. The authors are all members of the "Class of 2k8" online writers' group.  The novels are:

The Unnameables by Ellen Booraem

A fantasy for ages 10-14. A boy and a goatman defy the establishment in a fantasy about belonging, the dangers of forgetting history, the usefulness of art, and the importance of wind control. Ellen Booraem is a Brooklin resident and teaches creative writing to Brooklin students at Friend Memorial Library.

The Emerald Tablet by PJ Hoover

A middle-grade science fiction/fantasy book for kids 8-12. This is the first of a trilogy about a group of five kids from a continent hidden under the Pacific Ocean, who find out that not only are they not human but that they need to save the world. And summer was supposed to be normal.

The Gollywhopper Games by Jody Feldman

A novel for ages 10-14. 25,000 kids will enter, but only one can win what might be the biggest, boldest competition ever. Does Gil Goodson have what it takes? Do you?
