- This one of a kind piece is named "Espiritu do Samba" and was handcrafted by christine, a local artist that is a friend Olivia Fernandez, a student at the Santa Barbara Montessori School and donated on her behalf.
- The metal work is done in 925 silver and is signed in the back with Christine's pseudonym "Pumacasu".
- The stones are all natural and they are: rainbow moonstone, almandine Orissa garnets and Australian opals.
- Christine's inspiration was drawn from the headdresses and the colorful customs of the dancers in Sambas Schools that parade in the Carnival in Rio every February.
- The necklace is made of natural fresh water pearls.
- You can visit Christine at Pumacasu at the local Sunday Craft show at the Santa Barbara Beach.
