A literary treasure! Up to five children will have the opportunity to visit the Children's Book Council, the non-profit trade association of United States' children's book publishers. The visit will take place on a Sunday where the children will be treated to a "sneak peek" of the latest books to be published this year along with the original art from famous children's book illustrators. During the visit the children will sit in CBC's conference room surrounded by Children's Book Week posters dating back to 1919 while munching on a special snack. To finish off this special morning, each guest will receive a complimentary tote bag that can be filled with books of their choosing from the CBC's "Free Book Room" (expires 9/27/2009). The final touch? A bouquet of balloons from Stationery and Toy World on West 72nd Street.
