Recycled sterling silver forged bracelet

My newest pieces are all recycled metal. I am looking back on some of the early techniques I learned. I melt and alloy the metal then pour it into an ingot. Then taking a block of metal and hammering it out, drawing the wire or sheet. I have reclaimed the sound and smell of working the metal. These possesses are what first interested and seduced me into making jewelry.
Bio
Lauren Schott pursued an interest in jewelry, initially through apprenticeship and employment later she received her BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art And Design in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a jewelry designer and goldsmith. She teaches workshops in the Baltimore area. Her work is exhibited and sold nationally and internationally. Exhibitions include, One person shows at Gomez Gallery, Baltimore MD, Tatiana, Glenelge, MD and Les Artisan, Saint Bart. French West Indies.
