Description

One 3L Bottle of Antinori Solaia, 2004

Solaia, which means the ‘sunny one’ in Italian, is a 25-acre southwest facing vineyard that is contiguous to the Tignanello Vineyard in Chianti Classico. Antinori first produced a single-vineyard wine from these vines with the 1978 vintage. The 2004 vintage offers extremely intense ruby red color and good, complex fruit aromas without excessive hints of oak.  The wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 20% Sangiovese and rated 96 points Wine Advocate.
