Enjoy a private wine tasting for 10 people either in your home or at the new Virginia Wineworks winery in Charlottesville.  Award-winning winemaker Michael Shaps will pour wine from his French winery, Shaps & Roucher-Sarrazin, and from his new releases of his Virginia wines.  If held at the Charlottesville winery, the tasting will include barrel samplings and an educational tour of winery.  French wines include chardonnays and pinot noirs from Burgundy; Virginia wines include viognier, chardonnay, merlot, and more.  Must call ahead for mutually agreeable time and location.
