The Marshes as painted by Etta Harmon Levin.  She and her husbamnd moved to Charlottesville almost 2 years ago to retire neat her daughter and grandchildrne.  (Stephen, Jonah, and Claire Newman)  She has exhibited on Long Island, New York and has been active and has exhibited with the Central Virginia Watercolor Guild in Charlottesville.  This painting was done in one of her more realistic periods but she is currently known for her non-objective watermedia.  Etta Levin was recently juried in to the McGuffey art center as an assosicate member and will be exhibited there in July 2009.
