Shawn is a native Las Vegan.  He played three years at El Dorado before transferring to Green Valley, where he was a member of the 1997 State Championship team.  After high school, Shawn played one season at Central Arizona College, one season at CSN and finished his career playing two years of D1 baseball at Northwestern State in Louisiana.

Shawn focuses on the basics and the mental side of baseball.  By being strong in both areas, he believes anyone can be a great player.
