The current exhibit, through September 9th, 2009 is Lichtenstein, Warhol & Friends. The iconic artists featured in this exhibition were the leaders of their generation - Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, Roy Lichtenstein and and Ed Ruscha, among others. Their innovative use of material and imagery was at the forefront of Pop Art and Minimalism worldwide. The exhibition includes major works featured in MCASD's collection, primarily large-scale paintings along with sculptures and works on paper.
