Description

"RCA" stands for Radio Corporation of America, and item #3 is a great RCA product from the Golden Age of Radio!

Can't you just hear George Burns and Gracie Allen? Jack Benny? President Roosevelt? How about Orson Welles scaring Americans out of their wits with his 1938 broadcast of an invasion from Mars! You can even obtain the program on CD, play it over this radio, and the Mercury Theatre on the Air can say "BOO" to you, too!

Bring home radio history -- and the great sound quality only a tube radio can deliver -- with a high bid on item #3. This 1938 RCA model # K-81 console has been reconditioned (2009) with appropriate parts.

Special Instructions

This radio is restored and in good working order. The chassis includes original jacks (RCA plugs, of course!) for phonograph and early television inputs. These jacks are compatible with modern equipment, enabling you to easily play old-time radio shows on CD through this set.
