Our mission to provide free access to information about the benefits of sourcing your food as close to home as possible.  We provide this with well thought out editorial and engaging photography in an entertaining way. We look at the "environment" as a larger concept - eating local has benefits on so many levels: It's respectful of local ecology, keeps money in local economies, increases the mindfulness with which consumers buy and eat their food, increases food security, and strengthens the network of local neighbors who know and support each other for mutual benefit.
