Begin the evening in Lydia and Doug Shorenstein's stunning living room overlooking the nightlights of San Francisco. Ten lucky guests will sip cocktails and nosh on exquisite hors d'oeuvres created by the deliciously talented chef and Urban parent, Joey Altman (of Miss Pearl's Jam House and Host of Bay Cafe on the Television Food Network), as you converse with famous British film critic and past Urban parent, David Thomson. Mr. Thomson, who resides in San Francisco with his family, is touring the U.S. and Europe promoting his newly released book, "Have you seen...?": A Personal Introduction to 1,000 Films. The group will then proceed to the Shorenstein's well-appointed theater to view short cuts from famous films and engage in critique and discussion led by David Thomson.
