Large, luminous Mother of Pearl rounds glow when mixed with the faceted, natural red garnets on this necklace. The focal pendant is from Bali with lots of their famous silver beadwork and a soft patina that really accentuates the MOP. It also has a huge bale for freedom of movement which allows the light to dance off the face of the MOP. The smooth iridescent oval of MOP measures 1-1/8" across by a little over 3/4" and is topped by a faceted, large red garnet. All metals on this "one of a kind" necklace are sterling that has a slight oxidation for contrast and the closure is a sterling hook. The overall length is a little over 18-1/2". The earrings are made with the same Mother of Pearl and faceted red garnets to perfectly match the necklace. All metals on the earrings are sterling silver and the total length is 1.75" from the top of the leverback. I hope you will enjoy wearing this set as much as I enjoyed making it.
