Description

Master teacher Carl Kissin's classes combine elements of both "long form" and "short form" improvisation; focusing on truthful, relationship-based scene work. Geared for students with previous improv or acting experience, but beginners welcome.

Learn to trust your instincts, stop censoring yourself and to give yourself credit for your first, best idea. Improv classes are for everyone-performers, lawyers, stay-at-home parents... ANYONE!

Carl Kissin is a sensitive teacher who can help you think out of the box, come out of your shell and learn to make your partner look good.

Carl has performed over 4000 shows for Chicago City Limits and has served as their head writer and director of their National Touring Company. TV credits include The Joan Rivers Show, The Jackie Mason Show, Comedy Central and The Today Show (after which Katie Couric requested that Carl write material for her speech at a Congressional Dinner).

He has written for MTV's Mouth to Mouth, NBC's Live on Tape and VH-1's Mr. Eggman.
