Massage Therapy session lasting one hour. Swedish or Shiatsu.

Swedish Massage is done on a table working directly on the skin of the back, arms and legs with oil and through different methods of muscle manipulation promotes relaxation, circulation, and eases muscle tension. The client is properly draped for warmth and comfort, with only the area being worked on exposed.

Shiatsu Massage is performed on the floor, on a mat or many blankets with the client fully clothed in loose, comfortable, preferably natural fiber garments. Shiatsu promotes many of the same benefits as Swedish Massage but also follows the tents of the five Element Theory of Chinese Medicine to renew balance and well being to the client. The therapist works with firm pressure along the energy meridians of the body as well as implementing stretches where needed.  No oil is used.
