Chris Carter has performed in night clubs, concerts and festivals throughout the U.S and Europe. He has also been back up to such legendary artists as Solomon Burke, Lester Chambers, Chubby Checkers, The Drifters, Eddie Floyd, Earl King, The platters and many more.

He has written, arranged and produced recordings. Chris has been featured on the National Public Radio (NPR) syndicated program, "Portraits in Blue" and contributed an original tune 'Ain't Got No Home', to NBC's critically acclaimed prime time show, "Homicide: Life on the Street."

Chris played in the off-Broadway hit musical "Love Janis," the life story of Janis Joplin.
