Description

Winning bidder will receive a certificate good for two (2) one-hour piano lessons with acclaimed pianist Jasna Popovic. Lessons are for children or adults.


Popovic attended the Academy of Music in Munich, Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Germany. She received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, as well as a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy 2002, after completing her studies with Professors Gitti Pirner and Claude-France Journes.


Miss Popovic has won many awards, including Second Place at the National Piano Competition in Belgrade, Fourth Place at the International Competition in Rome, and is participating at various festivals around Europe, including those in Italy, Germany, and Austria. In 2005, she was honored at the International Keyboard Festival in New York.


Miss Popovic received the 2006 Passantino Award for Special Achievements and since then has performed at Steinway Hall, Lefrack Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York.


Miss Popovic has had the honor of working with renowned artists such as violinist Stefan Milenkovich, composer Rodin Scedrin, pianist Vadim Suhanov, and double-bassist Roman Patkolo, to name a few.


Jasna Popovic has made recordings of ethno-classical Serbian music honoring Queen Elizabeth. She is currently working on her solo debut album, which will feature classical Serbian music primarily.
