Notes from the Artist...

"I chose a reflection in the window of the school house as the subject for this watercolor painting because it presented some fascinating challenges as a painter. For instance, the way light is reflected and how it gets distorted as it passes through glass was one of those challenges. I also chose to 'frame' the subject with the window 'frame' as another way of creating some intrigue. I was trying for a 'different angle' on an old familiar subject.”
