This Symphony Concert is the Spring Finale with Amir Kats, Artistic Director & Symphony conductor: "The triumphant conclusion to Symphony?s 2008-2009 season will highlight a year?s worth of musical growth and achievement. The program will include selections by American composer Samuel Barber, and George Enescu?s galloping, exuberant Romanian Rhapsody." The Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies provides a unique musical experience for young people, aiding in their development both as young artists and as young adults. In doing so, GTCYS offers interested students the opportunity to further their music and performance skills in an orchestral setting.
