Syrah from Oakville, the heart of Cabernet Country...This gem comes from the small Oakville vineyard owned and farmed by Jim Del Bondio, one of Napa's most respected vineyard managers.  Only 260 cases were produced from a small harvest of only four tons now making this wine very hard to come by.

Winemaker Randy Mason has once again has produced a very special wine. The 2004 is well balanced with wonderful cherry fruit and is a terrific food wine. This wine combines Oakville's earthiness with outstanding fruit to create a very unique wine, quite different from an Aussie Shiraz or the central coast Syrah. It is wonderful with hot and spicy food such as Tex-Mex or penne arribiatta.
