Description
Founded in 1982 by Hogue brothers Mike and Gary, The Hogue Cellars is one of Washington State's most respected wineries.
Fruit for our 2004 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced exclusively from Fries Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope, a sub-appellation of Columbia Valley.
Lotswere aged separately 17 months in French and American oak barrels. The blend was finalized in May, 2006, and sent back to barrel for another 11 months.
Bottled March, 2007, it was then released September, 2007. This wine is drinking well now but with proper cellaring, should continue to develop over another 5 - 6 years. Only 1,742 cases produced. SRP: $30/btl.
