This $1,000 Gift Certificate will apply toward the total $5,000 cost of a custom oil portrait painting commissioned by award-winning artist Johanna Spinks.

Johanna Spinks' classic oil portrait paintings have won national recognition with a series of juried shows, acceptance, publication, and awards by The New York Times, American Artist Magazine, Art Talk, Oil Painters of American, The Atlanta Portrait Society, and the Southern California chapter of the American Society of Portrait Artists.

Her most recent commissions include Angela Lansbury, Rex Harrison, Norman Rockwell, and a second official portrait for the Episcopal diocese of Los Angeles.

Please note that you are bidding on a $1,000 gift certificate toward the TOTAL cost of $5,000 of a life-size custom oil portrait commission, three-quarter body including hands.  The process includes a head study painted from life at Johanna's studio in Malibu and a photo shoot to develop the portrait.
