Description

You are sure to have a memorable week-long vacation in this charming holiday villa, aptly named "Beach Holme." The double fronted Victorian home sits directly on the sea front at Monks Bay in the beautiful village of Bonchurch on the Isle of Wight.

This vacation home belonging to Viewpoint's Smith family has all you will need for a great holiday. With incredible sea views from every room at the front of the house, there is a fully equipped kitchen opening to a large family/dining room, a large comfortable TV/living room, an enclosed veranda running the length of the house, four large double bedrooms (two queens and two with twins/super king size beds), three bath/shower rooms (one en suite), and a gated front garden with the beach directly in front. It is a perfect home for one or two families to enjoy.

Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, swim, walk the miles of beach or woodland and cliffs, play in the sand, catch crabs in the rock pools or just sit watching the fishing boats, yachts and occasional glistening ferry sail by, drink/eat at the charming local pubs and fabulous local restaurants and explore the island at your leisure.

Bonchurch is a beautiful village on the South East coast of the Isle of Wight. It is surrounded by the beautiful St. Boniface Downs which tower up high above its coastal location, protecting it from adverse weather, giving it its wonderful temperate climate. Located on the coastal path, there is mile upon mile of beautiful coastal and inland walks literally on the doorstep. Bonchurch lies between two bigger sea side resorts, Shanklin and Ventnor, both a wonderful 20 minute walk away (Ventnor can be reached by bicycle along the sea wall in 10 minutes). Both resorts have sandy, award winning beaches and wonderful eateries. Bonchurch beachfront itself consists of a cafe, a pottery, and five houses. There is a further fabulous contemporary brasserie in the village and a wonderful, famous village pub. The world renowned sailing resort of Cowes is a 35-minute drive away and the rest of the island and all its wonderful attractions can be easily reached by car or bus.

The available weeks at present this year are: June 13 - 25, (the Isle or Wight festival is 12 - 14 with fantastic bands playing: www.isleofwightfestival.com) and June 28 - July 4. After August there are available times that the owner would be happy to discuss, as well as dates in 2010. June is a good month with better chance of nice weather and it is still quiet as the schools are still open in the UK.

This is a Live Event Item.
