Description

One bottle each of these five amazing wines:

Dal Forno Romano Valpolicella 2001
Deep ruby-red color, ripe, port-like aromas of hazelnut and raisin, very sweet and rich on the palate; a floral note adds flavor, finishes very long. Amazing depth and concentration with dried fruits, raisins, plum, cassis, sweetness on the tannins.

Barbaresco "Camp Gros" Martinenga 1999
A nose with mint, rose, plum; the palate is harmonious, with fruit, prune pit, and balance. Very silky, with plum, berry, leather and cherry character. Full-bodied, with fine, yet chewy tannins and a long, tannic finish. Ripe and thick.

Brunello Montalcino Pianrosso 2001
The 2001 Brunello has an intense ruby color. The bouquet is intense, fruit-forward, spicy and floral with hints of red berry fruits enriched by delicate spicy notes. Warm, soft and very well balanced on the palate; structured with soft tannins and long aftertaste. A good concentration in the mid-palate. This wine embodies power and elegance.

Barbaresco "Gaiun" Martinenga 1999
Aromatic of cherry, cedar, meat and berry, the wine is full-bodied, with lots of fruit and tannins. Long, sweet fruit finish. Traditional, yet beautiful.

Garbole Amarone 2005
It is a deep ruby red colored wine with purplish shades verging on burgundy during the refinement phase. It has an intense and penetrating aroma, it is a wine characterized by scents of ripe fruit such as red berry fruit (cherry, plum, blueberry) as well as by flowers such as violet. It has composite scents of spices, aromatic herbs, jam and plum; it is rich and juicy in taste, with a scent of sour-cherry and an aftertaste of ripe underbrush.
