Description
Dine at Baltimore's newest treasure - the highly rated Clementine on Harford Road.
At Clementine, comestible means delicious treats such as dressings, sauces, pickled vegetables & salads, compotes, jams & syrups.
They celebrate the seasonal bounty Maryland has to offer and feature those items throughout the year. If it's fresh and simple in the summer or their own canned delicacies in the winter, they'll never offer produce that is not up to their standards of quality.
They make their tomato onion jam when tomatoes are at their peak, and preserve figs from their own neighborhood gardens. Their pear marmalade is made with sage and their cherry ginger jam features a bit of whiskey. In other words, their stuff is unique and unexpected, it is not overly sweet or artificial.
Clementine also makes its own hot sauces, herbal emulsions for soups, remoulades and mustards. They aren't bottling and canning for purchase just yet but it is on their list. For now, they hope you'll enjoy these comestibles on the menu and in your belly.
