The heart scan is a fast painless CT scan of your heart, which determines if you have coronary artery disease.  The scan calculates the amount of calcium in your coronary arteries, your calcium score.  A high score is statistically associated with a higher of having a heart attack sometime in the future.  Knowing your future risk gives you the opportunity to take steps to prevent this disease progression.  Patients will meet with the attending radiologist for immediate consultation and results.
