Description

Up to 4 Hours of Online Genealogy Research

I will research records I have access to including US Census records from 1850-80/1900-1930 (the records of 1890 were destroyed in a fire, 1840 and earlier just list head of household), WW I and WW II draft registrations, sporadic birth/marriage/death entries from various locales, or other records that may be available on Ancestry.com, to construct what I can of your family tree.  What did Great-Great Grandpa list as his occupation in 1870?  Where was Great-Grandma born?  Each census can provide another nugget: 1900 lists the Month/Year of birth (others just list age); 1910 indicates whether the individual was a survivor of the Union or Confederate Army/Navy; 1920/1930 both list the year of immigration for all current immigrants.   You will need to provide me with enough information (parents/grandparents/.. - approximate birth/death ranges, ideas as to where they were from/lived/ etc.) to establish my footing in the records of the1920's-1930's and then I will see what I can dig up from there (no guarantees - but I'll do my best!)

(Must redeem by end of June 2009 as my current Ancestry subscription expires at the beginning of July)

I can provide a large poster of my own genealogy and/or sample blank census forms to display at the table.
