Mer Soleil Chardonay 2004 Rated 92."Layered"! The result of variations in slope, soils and micro-climates. 

Canadian Vidal Ice Wine...VERY difficult to purchase in Utah.  Tropical aromas dominated by pineapple and mango.  The palate is tart and piquant but very rich, complex and persistent.

Sonoma-Cutrer 2005 Rated 94.  Very clear straw color.  Apples, pineapple and dates, "tropical fruit" character is present but held well in hand.  Mouth-filling, fresh fruit is well balanced by tart, mouth-watering acidity that builds a strudy structure.

Weingut Heiligenstein 2005 Rated 90 Outstanding. Great verve, structure, and length.  Very alive and almost vibrant on the tongue.  On the nose was ginger, per greens, apricot, lime oil, a kaffir.  On the tongue was river rocks, unripe stone fruits, ginger, white pepper, and citrus. Medium to full with big presence and length.
