Batik Wall Hanging.

The Children have been painting layers of hot wax each day onto fabric and then soaking it in colorful dye.  The waxed areas resist the dye therefore keeping the fabric the original color.  The fabric started out white and we have dyed it yellow, green, blue and black.  All of the wax has been ironed out and the Batik work of art will be framed.

Many children participated in the making of this beautiful piece or art however, only a few are shown in the photos.
