The Brooklyn is an early 20th-century, steam-powered New York harbor tug. The original Brooklyn was built in 1910-1911 by Wm. Cramp & Sons of Philadelphia.  It was a railroad-transfer Tug which spent its 50 year career shuttling barges loaded with railroad cars back and forth across the New York Harbor. She was retired in 1960.
