Description
M. 15 x 15 x 4.25" | |
An ancient game, still growing in popularity known for the beauty of its pieces, and for the challenge it poses to the mind. Early games made in ivory by master carvers and turners were often in red and white, or green and white combinations. Our game is an exact reproduction of an original made by John Calvert, a Master of the Worshipful Company of Turners in London in 1795. The faux-ivory set of 32 pieces comes in a beautiful hardwood box with an inlaid chessboard top. Mahogany finished box with drawers and space for each individual piece. |
