This poster was conceived by the Blue Jays teachers, and created by your smart and compassionate children.

Peace was a week-long theme in the Blue Jays. The children read and discussed books about the topic. The teachers performed dramatizations with no endings, where the children came up with different conclusions that could lead to peaceful solutions.

The children were asked what does peace mean to them, and they all worked together on painting the background and the peace sign. Their answers, sure to make you emotional, border this colorful tapestry they created, completed with their own pictures.
