It takes our urban picklers close to 48 hours to prepare these crunchy gherkins, which will then be sliced and ready for your summer barbeque. Shakespeare was the first known to use the phrase "in a pickle" in The Tempest in 1611, to denote a difficult or unpleasant situation. It's clear that he never tasted these pickles!
