PARTY LIKE IT'S 1985

Ah, 1985.  President Reagan was being sworn in for a second term. "We Are the World" was playing on our radio. Amadeus won the Oscar. Biloxi Blues won the Tony. PH's Sunday in the Park with George won a Pulitzer. We drank New Coke for the first time and hated it. Don Johnson was a fashion icon. We loved Swatch watches, Back to the Future, Nintendo, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Golden Girls. Oh, and they were growing some pretty good grapes in the Bordeaux region of France.
