WRIGHT ON!

When Charlotte von Mahlsdorf went on the record with Doug Wright, it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship and an even more beautiful play. I Am My Own Wife premiered at PH in 2003 before it went on to a Tony Award-Winning Broadway run, a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an international tour.

Doug Wright is parting with a limited edition CD recording of some of the original interviews between him and his muse, Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, which were the inspiration for the play.

Charlotte was her own wife, and now you can hear her amazing story in her own words.
