Lauren Cross has always been artistic yet altogether rather practical, and even as a child she would twist old telephone wires to make bracelets for her friends. Nowadays her choice of materials and the finished pieces are a little more refined than her childhood designs, but no less unique. She decided to launch f l a u r e n a by Lauren Cross when her necklaces started receiving compliments from strangers on the New York subway.

Lauren most enjoys making her Wire Lace necklaces because they are like wearable art. Each is a sculpture of gold-filled or silver wire, adorned with crystals, semi-precious stones, and other materials found in nature. Lightweight and utterly feminine, each hand-made piece is a unique design.
