Author and eminent art historian Aimée Brown Price is offering a private tour for four of the paintings of influential French painter Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, co-founder of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts and subject of Dr. Price's upcoming Yale University Press book. Price, an authority on Puvis de Chavannes as well as other nineteenth-century artists, will be your personal guide through the Metropolitan Museum of Art or another NYC museum of your choice. Price received her Ph.D. from Yale University and has lectured nationally and internationally, including at Oxford, Cambridge, and Princeton; the National Gallery of Art, London; the Power Institute, Sydney; and the Institut d'art et d'archéologie, Paris.
